Bad Choices or Bad People?

We are always told to stay away for 'bad people', but who are these bad people? How do we identify them? What makes them 'bad'? We often believe that bad is bad and good is good, especially when dealing with someone other than ourselves or a loved one. If, on the other hand, this question is directed at us, we always stand on the side of good. This much is expected, as an individual that wants to fit in with the norms of society we will always want to be portrayed as 'good' and if by chance we are seen as 'bad' we try to achieve a shade of gray. We try to convince every one that we are just border line. Why is this?! Is it that we ARE bad people? Or did we just make a bad choice?

Good people make good choices! Right!? Always!? What if a 'good' person make a 'bad' choice? Do they automatically become a bad person? Typical answer would be that it was just once, but what if it was a very bad choice? What then? How many bad choices before a good person is labeled as bad?

One thing I have noticed is that it is a lot easier the switch from good to bad than it is to move from bad to good. Is it that we believe, or are thought, that a bad person ONLY makes bad choices? Or are we afraid to trust a bad person? Are we so convinced that only bad cam come from them that even if there was one little good choice we come to the conclusion that the intent was of ill will. Why is it so hard to have faith in someone? Often we hope for someone to change but rarely ever give the benefit of the doubt if they are genuine in there actions.

My request form all my readers is this. Inspire!!! Be the example and an symbol of hope for all those that at times make bad choices and if they do, help them to make a better one next time. If everyone tried this for one day there would be a great change in the world.

I must conclude saying that it is my opinion that there are no 'bad' people, just 'bad' choices.!!

Flock Browser

I must say that I'm not really a fan of social networks, i only just started the blogging scene as you can notice. I stumbled upon this browser a long time ago but as i said i wasn't into social networks, so i put it down as quick as i picked it up. However, in recent days i said I'll give the blogging thing a try, after all i read so many every day (mainly Tec stuff), so when i saw Flock on download.com i took it as a sign. So, i tried it, and, i like it.

The fact that it has these services built into the browser is a plus for me, i prefer applications with the most "default functionality' because sometimes a plug-in can slow down or even crash a browser.

I use Internet Explorer as my default (yes i use ie) mainly because i use my windows live account as my main account as well as the whole concept of a windows live suite, which is something i think Google should of had a long time ago. With Flock i can get to my Gmail account right in the browser which is very handy. After seeing that i was like "ok cool but windows live toolbar syncs my bookmarks". Well i took a look at what Delicious (the social bookmarking network) is all about, and i was again impressed. Flock's bookmark bar syncs with Delicious. So all you need is an account with them.

On the down side of everything is that although it brings all the networks together, there are user names and passwords to remember for each so please remember your passwords in case of system failure.

In my opinion i would recommend Flock for anyone who is a member of 3 or more of the networks they support especially on a laptop (i installed on my net book). Its like using Firefox with the plug-in you need right off the bat.

I give Flock a 9 out of 10.
